A local popular coffee restaurant. In addition to coffee desserts, there are various meals to choose from. The location is very good. It is located in the mall. The decoration of the store is small and fresh. I like the coffee. I especially recommend it.

There are five of us from Gippsland who meet for dinner before the MSO Monash Series concerts. This was our first visit to Shaven&#39;s and we will definitely be returning. The dining room was beautifully set out and quiet. The food was wonderful. The service was impeccable and the price was reasonable. And it&#39;s less than 10 minutes from Monash.

Try this great place for lunch. The service is very efficient and friendly. They have a very extensive lunch menu for all at round $10 to $13. The glass noddles with chicken are really light tasty and have plenty of fresh chilli.

A variety of small meals - suited to a variety of palates. We ate a small early brunch - delicious. Service very attentive and efficient.

To start off our evening, we ordered drinks. When they arrived, they were warm (bottled) and flat (lemon lime bitters), and the glasses provided for the water were filthy (lipstick stains). If you&#39;re charging over $4 for a small soft drink, it needs to be cold. I ordered pork ribs from their specials board, but was told they had been sold out. So I ordered the salmon instead, which came with mash and spinach (and salsa, but I asked for this to be left off). The mash was excellent, but I did find the salmon to be a bit dry, perhaps over cooked. However, I will say maybe this would have been different with the salsa on it. Sneakers ordered a chicken parma, and the parma itself was very average due to the &quot;tomato sauce&quot; - it was really thin and runny, more like a watery tomato soup. The chips were nice though. We also got a side of roast potatoes, which were also average. They were more reminiscent of rustic potato wedges with the skins left on. It&#39;s a shame about the food and drinks because the service &amp; ambience was good.

Service was rushed, food ordinary, i t is always busy. They have a great selection of cakes. Maybe this is what people go for. I just don&#39;t get this place. It is noisy, always busy. Maybe people go there just for cake &amp; coffee. I have eaten there 3 times now, as my friend likes it. I will go elsewhere in Pinewood next time.
